Love Re-Imagined

Picture

What does it mean?

At the core of committed relationships is a paradox.  Commitment suggests something that is steady, unwavering and reliable... something that doesn't change.  Yet, we know that change is inevitable.  It happens  whether we want it or not.  There is a way that the couple who stands at the alter and exchanges vows is the same couple who celebrates a tenth wedding anniversary.  There is another way in which they are not the same people at all.
Successful couples are the ones who navigate the changing seasons of their relationship well.  They are able to reimagine their relationship while remaining aware of their original connection.

At the heart of growth is imagination.  If you can't imagine it, you can't do it.
